Ollie Bassett began his youth career in the Aston Villa Academy where he was emersed in a proper footballing environment. At the age of 17, Bassett made his Football League debut, playing for Yeovil Town, becoming the youngest ever player for the club. In 2018, Bassett made the move to New Zealand and quickly established himself as one of the top players in the league. During his 2019 season with Team Wellington, Bassett totaled 6 goals and 8 assists in just 10 matches. Ollie has already drawn rave reviews in his new footballing market of Canada, being noted as one of the biggest impact-makers for foreign imports to the Canadian Premier League. After winning the CPL championship with Pacific FC, Ollie made the transfer to Atletico Ottawa for his second season in Canada.
