Yann Fillion made his pro debut with FC Montreal where he spent two seasons. In 2016, Yann signed with FC Zurich in Switzerland where he saw loan stints with Umea FC in Sweden, Nest-Sotra in Norway, and Toronto FC. When his contract expired, he signed with Ekenas IF where he earned the starting job and quickly became one of the top goalkeepers in the Finnish Ykkonen. Due to his success, Fillion joined newly promoted Finnish Premier League side (Veikkausliiga), AC Oulu. During the 2021 season Yann Received the honor of being selected to the “Team of the Month” for August after 4 stellar performances which saw him concede just one goal in 360 minutes. In 2022, he signed on the Aland Islands with IFK Mariehamn where he has become the #1 keeper and helped the team to a strong season. Yann returned to Canada for the 2023 season with HFX Wanderers where he finished top 3 in clean sheets, save percentage and total saves in the CPL.
